Taylor Kulhanek graduated from Baylor University with a BFA in Theatre Design in 2009, where she stage managed several productions, including Iphigenia 2.0 and Picasso at the Lapin Agile, costume designed All My Sons, and even performed in Tina Howe's Museum, in which she used her skills as an ASL interpreter.
Since moving back to Austin, Taylor has worked steadily as a stage manager and production manager for several productions, including Vigil, Circle Mirror Transformation, The Atheist, and The Collection, all at Hyde Park Theatre, where she currently serves as Venue Manager. In 2010, she co-stage managed the FronteraFest Short Fringe at HPT and in 2011, she served as the overall Short Fringe Coordinator. Her work in partnership with ScriptWorks also extended to stage managing the annual "Out of Ink" Festival in 2010.
Taylor has been invaluable to DA!, stage managing the technically demanding Leave it to Beverly in 2009 and helping to shepherd Heron & Crane to Manhattan as part of the New York International Fringe Festival in 2010. Additional credits include stage managing for Mother Hen Presents (The Mommy Confessions), Capital T Productions (Hunter Gatherers) and the U.S. Army (LifeLines, a suicide prevention play at Fort Hood in Killeen).
Welcome to DA! (officially), Taylor! We're lucky to have you!
