Steph Denson graduated from St. Edward's University in May 2008 with a B.A. in Theatre Arts. She just finished performing in the latest incarnation of her one-woman show, 57 Boyfriends, a DA!-produced entry for FronteraFest 2009 which advanced to Best of the Fest. She also had the pleasure of performing in DA!'s Relative Space at HPT last December.
Stephanie was seen at St. Edward's Mary Moody Northen Theatre in several productions over the years, including Parade, Macbeth, Footloose, Much Ado About Nothing, The Stinky Cheese Man, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Full Circle, and On the Town. Stephanie is a versatile actress, as evidenced by her having been cast as a male, an Asian, and a lady with a banana pram.
Before moving to Austin, Ms. Denson performed in Corpus Christi in shows such as Auntie Mame, M*A*S*H, Bye-Bye, Birdie, Bang Bang, You're Dead, And They Dance Real Slow in Jackson, and The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-Moon Marigolds. She has also had the pleasure of working as the Marketing Director for Summer Stock Austin for two summers and as a resident coordinator, instructor, and counselor for Texas Arts Project camp for three summers.
Steph is currently living the dream: working at two restaurants, acting, and writing all at the same time.
