Jamie Rhodes is a kamikaze penniless philanthropist. Instead of
money, she invests love, spirit, and the belief that anything is possible.
She came to a DA rehearsal to consult on design; before it was over, she was
standing on her head.
She was last seen as Rose, the principal character in the musical Small Town Girl,
written by Kimmie Rhodes and directed by Joe Sears.
Her latest costume design credits include The Glory of Living
for Hyde Park Theatre, Port Arthur and You're No One's Nothing
Special for Subterranean and Small Town Girl and Windblown,
both written by Kimmie Rhodes and directed by Joe Sears. She also enjoys an
ongoing design relationship with Ballet East.
Her talents have also led her to design clothes for SoCo’s Big
Rig, as well as for several other local boutiques and regional fashion shows. Her
creative interests have led her to design and construct stained glass windows
and to teach cooking classes at Central Market with Kimmie Rhodes and Joe
Gracey. Her favorite creation is her son Louie, who reminds her how important
it is to play every day.
