A Workshop in Russian Actor Training

Explore the Droznin System of Physical Actor Training. The system calls upon training from Stanislavski's Method, Meyerhold's biomechanics, and the achievements of other great Russian directors such as Vakhtangov and Tairov. It is the physical training system utilized in the graduate program at Harvard University and throughout both Europe and Asia. This workshop will introduce exercises for developing physical awareness and freeing the body for spontaneous creative expression. We will also discuss further application and training possibilities.
