DA! is committed to enhancing the level and scope of education in our artistic community.

DA! Theatre Collective trains year-round as an ensemble. We utilize the principles of the Vakhtangov lineage as the core structure for our creative process; this foundation allows us to have a common language for communicating and exploring together.

In order to stretch in every direction imaginable, DA! participates in symbiotic workshops for production research and training; this includes such diverse disciplines as Chekhov technique, dance, design, Feldenkrais® ATM, Hatha Yoga, improvisation, Meyerhold’s biomechanics, movement, percussion, playwriting, rock climbing, rhythm, script analysis, stage combat, Suzuki, trapeze, voice, wire sculpture, and more.

Additionally, DA! offers a series of varied workshops within our community; these workshops are open to individuals, schools, and artistic companies.

In keeping with our philosophies of outreach and inclusion, DA! also donates needs-based programming, interactive assemblies, and productions to groups in the greater Austin community. If you think your school or non-profit organization may qualify, please contact Robin, DA!’s Director of Education.
